Hi, welcome to QUEEENGOLD.

I started this blog because I spent years working in the jewelry industry, and I lost count of how many times I explained the same things to customers — what karat actually means, why two "diamonds" can look completely different in price, how to tell if a gemstone is worth what someone's asking for it. Most of that knowledge never left the shop floor. It stayed in conversations with customers who happened to walk in and ask the right questions.

This blog is my attempt to put that knowledge somewhere more people can actually find it.

QUEEENGOLD covers the practical side of gold, jewelry, and gemstones — things like gold purity (24K, 22K, 18K and what the difference really means for your wallet and your jewelry box), how to care for pieces you already own so they don't lose their shine or get damaged, and how to think through buying decisions for diamonds, including lab-grown options that a lot of people still have questions about. I also write about gemstones more broadly — rubies, sapphires, emeralds — because "pretty" and "valuable" aren't always the same thing, and knowing the difference matters when you're spending real money.

I'm not here to tell you what to buy or oversell you on anything. My goal is simpler: help you walk into a jewelry store, or shop online, with enough knowledge that you're not just trusting whatever you're told. Whether you're buying an engagement ring, inheriting a piece from family, or just curious about what's sitting in your jewelry box, I want this blog to be a place you can come back to and actually learn something useful.
